Join Ivy Film Festival for an advanced screening of Fox Searchlight's The Birth of a Nation.

Film begins at 7:00pm with a panel discussion to follow. All tickets are general admission with doors opening at 6:30pm. Please note, tickets are valid until 6:50 only. After 6:50 empty seats will be given to standby audience members. Entrance after 6:50 with ticket is not guaranteed. Standy audience will be managed on a first come first served basis.

Set against the antebellum South, The Birth of a Nation follows Nat Turner (Nate Parker), a literate slave and preacher, whose financially strained owner, Samuel Turner (Armie Hammer), accepts an offer to use Nat’s preaching to subdue unruly slaves. As he witnesses countless atrocities - against himself and his fellow slaves - Nat orchestrates an uprising in the hopes of leading his people to freedom.
